Lightswitch was born out of the desire to provide opportunities for gifted people to harness their craft, be promoted and earn a living doing it. Aside from creating avenues for artistic expression, Lightswitch promotes Filipino artistry, championing them as true world class talents. With the goal of making artists “shine as lights of the world”, it is Lightswitch’s foremost goal to bring God glory in all of its undertakings.
Currently, Lightswitch is made up of three proponents: Lightswitch Music, Lightswitch Lit (literary) and Lightswitch Spark (visual arts). Lightswitch Music is the first program of the Lightswitch Publishing House. It shall be complemented by these two other programs in the near future. The goals of Lightswitch Music are:

- Produce music albums, live recordings and stage live performances.
- Music publishing and distribution through media industries, retail, online stores and other sales areas.
- Multimedia campaigns and sponsorship.
